Welcome to Citrus Telemedicine. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our telehealth services provided through our website [yourwebsite.com], mobile applications, and other online platforms (collectively, the "Platform"). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. 

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services. 

 

1. Eligibility 

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using the Platform, you affirm that you are of legal age and capable of entering into a binding agreement. 

 

2. Medical Services 

Citrus Telemedicine provides access to licensed healthcare professionals who offer consultations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans through telehealth technologies. 

Our services are not intended for emergency medical situations. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 911 immediately. 

 

3. Telehealth Consent 

By using our Platform, you acknowledge and consent to the use of telehealth technologies. You understand that: 

  • Telehealth involves the delivery of health care services using electronic communications. 

  • There are potential risks, including interruptions, unauthorized access, or technical difficulties. 

  • You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. 

You may be asked to sign a more detailed Telehealth Informed Consent form before receiving services. 

 

4. Privacy and Confidentiality 

Your privacy is very important to us. We comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable Florida state laws to protect your personal health information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details. 

 

5. User Accounts 

To access services, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities under your account. 

You agree not to: 

  • Share your account with others. 

  • Provide false information. 

  • Use the account for unlawful purposes. 

 

6. Payment and Insurance 

Fees for services will be disclosed prior to your appointment. You are responsible for full payment unless prior to your scheduled visit. Appointments with payment due may be cancelled at clinic discretion.  Citrus Telemedicine does not accept insurance.  We will provide you with a receipt or a superbill that you can provide to your insurance company for reimbursement at your written request.   

 

7. No Medical Guarantee 

While we strive to provide high-quality healthcare, outcomes may vary and we make no guarantees regarding the results of your treatment. Our healthcare providers are licensed in the state of Florida and practice within the scope permitted by law. 

 

8. Prohibited Conduct 

You agree not to use the Platform to: 

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse providers or staff. 

  • Distribute harmful software or code. 

  • Impersonate any person or entity. 

Violations may result in termination of access without notice. 

 

9. Intellectual Property 

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Citrus Telemedicine or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit our content without express written permission. 

 

10. Limitation of Liability 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Citrus Telemedicine and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of the Platform or services. 

 

11. Governing Law 

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Citrus County, Florida. 

 

12. Changes to Terms 

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our Platform indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
